Look how bluish white my eyes are! I’m getting ready to shed my skin! Right now, I’m vulnerable and can’t see well with my cloudy eyes. This is due to a layer of fluid building up between my old skin and the new one underneath. As I grow, my skin becomes stretched and worn. A point is reached when it cannot accommodate further growth, so a new skin grows underneath. When this is complete, I shed my old skin along with any parasites I may have picked up. Watching a snake shed its skin is fascinating.
Come visit Snake Tale Alley and maybe you’ll get lucky!

Our Bobcat loves new enrichment ideas. Even something as simple as a bale of hay. Look at his enjoyment!

We have many great joys each day as keepers, but there’s nothing better than a clean pooper scooper!
